Idylease (/ˈaɪdəl.iːz/ "idle-ease"), a former resort hotel located in Newfoundland, New Jersey, was erected in 1902 and is an architecturally and historically significant example of early 20th century resort architecture in Northwest, New Jersey. The only surviving example of resort facilities in the region, it recalls the popularity of the region as the vacationland for the middle class in the late nineteenth century.

There is something to be said for modernization but there is also something to be said about a structure that has preserved a piece of living history which provides an affordable place to live. Idylease in West Milford Township (the Newfoundland Section) has furnished rooms available for rent.

Monthly rentals start at $1,000/month (depending of room size & configuration) which including utilities. Rooms have basic furnishings: (bed, nightstand, dresser, & desk) Rooms have half bath, (showers are shared). One month security and first month rent is required to take occupancy.

Each room at Idylease is being meticulously restored to reflect the time when Idylease first greeted guests on New Years Day in 1903. Rooms are furnished with period decor and recall a time that celebrates the tradition of gracious hotel living.

The home has a large community Kitchen, Living Room & Dining Room. Kitchen Refrigerator and Cabinet space is provided. Basement Laundry Room has coin operated machines.

Located one-quarter mile from State Highway Route 23 in Newfoundland, NJ. New Jersey Transit bus service within walking distance with service to Kinnelon, Butler, Bloomingdale, Riverdale, Pompton Lakes, Pequannock, Wayne, Little Falls and New York City Port of Authority Bus Terminal.

On April 11, 2016 Film Producer Richard Zampella, the son of Dr. Arthur Zampella purchased Idylease.
